My Story
My name is Nick and I've been many things, but mostly, I'm a photographer. I had my first camera for a little under a week. It was a plastic, disposable Kodak camera that came covered in yellow cardboard. It was the first in a string of many that got shoved into pockets and stowed in backpacks as I canoed, hiked, and camped my way across Texas as a young man. I never got to keep any of them. But I've still got the pictures.
Over the years, I graduated to bigger and better cameras. And bigger and better pictures. I've spent the better part of the last 10 years as a full time photographer based out of the DFW Metroplex. I've done my fair share of commercial photography - I've driven by my photos on billboards, I've scrolled past my pictures on webpages, and I've even pulled fliers out of my own mailbox only to find my images staring back up at me.
But nothing quite compares to the feeling of capturing an image that's not for the world at large, but is just for you. Something personal. Something meaningful. I don't just take pictures of my clients, I help them create heirlooms.
And that's why of all the things I'll be, photographer is my favorite.
